Plot Outline:
Danny Ocean and his ten accomplices plan to rob three Las Vegas casinos simultaneously.

Useful Expressions

1. What would you do if (you were) released?
= You're in prison now. Maybe we would let you leave prison. What are you going to do?

2. He said what we do could be considered research.
= Our actions are very clever or very strange. That's why someone would be interested in studying what we do.

3. Let's stick to cash.
= We have different options. Let's choose cash as a way of payment.

To stick to something = to limit yourself to doing or using one particular thing and not change to anything else

4. Some people lack vision.
To lack = to not have or not have enough of something that is needed or wanted

Eg. We do not have enough space to keep old things.
= We lack space to keep old things.               

5. God, I'm bored.
To be bored = feeling tired and unhappy because something is not interesting or because you have nothing to do
Eg. This movie is not interesting at all. I'm so bored.

To be boring = to be not interesting or exciting
Eg. This movie is boring. It's not interesting at all.

6. A: Did you practice that speech?
    B: Did I rush it?
To rush =- to do something very quickly
Eg. I rushed to find a phone.

7. Just out of curiosity, which casinos did you - geniuses - pick to rob?
= I'm just interested to know which casinos did you choose to take the money from?

8. What I'm about to propose is highly lucrative & highly dangerous.
=The things I would like to offer you can bring a lot of money (lucrative), as the same time they are very dangerous.

9. They're three of the most profitable casinos in Las Vegas.
= These three casinos bring the biggest amount of money to its owners.

Eg. Company prints books & sells them to shops. It's a profitable business.
= It brings money to the company.

10. This guy is as smart as he is ruthless.
= This guy is very clever & very cruel in his actions (ruthless).

11. Terry doesn't have to make the distinction.
= difference between two similar things
Eg. I have two apples. What is the distinction between them? One apple is red & another is green.

12. They'll be watching you like hawks.
= a type of large bird which catches small birds and animals for food

13. A: How long will you be there?
      B: 3 to 6 months, I guess.
= I think = I reckon = I suppose
