Plot Outline:
A retired master car thief must come back to the industry and steal 50 cars with his crew in one night to save his brother's life.

Useful Expressions

1. We have silver Porsche, estimated speed - 80 miler per hour.
To estimate = a guess of what the size, value, amount, cost, etc. of something might be.
E.g. Tsunami is estimated to cover half of the world. = Specialists guess that tsunami will cover half of the world.

2. Believe me, I can vouch for that.
To vouch for something / somebody = to say that you know from experience that something is true or good
Eg. My sister drives for 20 years already. She is a good driver, I can vouch for that.

3. No visible damage to locking mechanisms, steering columns … (car mechanisms).
Visible = something you can see
Eg. 1.) The school is visible from my window.
      2.) Air pollution is not visible.

Damage = harm, when sth. is spoilt
Eg. Strong winds caused serious damage to the roof (or "Strong winds seriously damaged to the roof")

4. Let's impound these cars for one month.
To impound = police keeps something (cars) that you have because you brake the law, you have acted illegally.

5. I folded, Atley = I failed

6. He took a job & he fumbled it. Now he's jammed up.
= He has done the job badly. Now he has a lot of problems.

To fumble = to do smth badly, to fail

7. He neglected to mention it.
= He didn't tell it to me because he forgot or didn't pay much attention to it.

8. … minutes to deadline
= … minutes left till the time by which something must be done

9. I try to learn your ways, understand your obsessions. But this baseball, it's so bloody boring.
Obsession = something or someone that you think about all the time
Eg. I study Biology all the time. It's my obsession.

Grammer Point
"Bloody + adjective" is used to emphasise the adjective in a rude way, to stress it.
Eg. This music is so good (polite way).
This music is bloody good (rude way)

10. It's not good. It's humiliation.
= I / you feel ashamed or lose the respect of others.

11. I'm retired.
= I don't work anymore. I left this job because I am too old or I want a change for something quiet.

12. It's the least I can do.
= a polite answer to someone who thanks you, usually when you feel you should do more to help.

13. Nobody wants to get you fired.
= Nobody wants to ask you to leave a job.

14. I don't have a clue.
= I don't have any idea.

Not to have a clue = to be completely unable to guess, understand, or deal with something
Eg. A: Who invented algebra?
      B: I don't have a clue.

15. It was a family emergency.
Emergency = something serious or dangerous, such as accident, which happened suddenly, unexpectedly.

16. Mmm, she's mean.
= she is unkind.

17. Now we restore, now we revive.

To restore = to return to earlier position, to bring back
Eg. John couldn't see. Doctors have restored his sight.

To revive = to come or bring something back to life, health, existence, or use.
Eg. 1.) He had a cancer, he was almost dead. Doctors
helped him to revive.
      2.) My flowers revived as soon as I gave them some water.

18. He is a computer genius. He does fascinating things with computers.

Genius = person who has a rare skill, who can do something that no one else can
Eg. Einstein was a (mathematical) genius.

Fascinating = extremely interesting
Eg. Harry Potter is a fascinating movie.

19. What am I supposed to do?
= What do I have to do?

To be supposed to = to have duty to do smth, or a responsibility to someone
Eg. Students are supposed to be at school by 9.00 am

20. Did you see the box of rubber gloves here, man?
