St
George on Water! updated
27th Oct 2004
A
boat trip was organised for students and teachers to go along
on Labour Day, 25th Oct. Let us here what the teacher and
students say ...
All
sixteen of us climbed abroad the catamaran
"Caprice", knowing that the water was deep and now
was not a good time to go swimming. But, in fact, we all had
a great time!
The trip lasted three hours and, no matter what we did, it
just went too quickly! We sailed out of the harbour, beyond
Devonport, past Birkenhead and back; taking in a perilous
bungee-dive from under Harbour Bridge and even going past
New Zealand's navy (on that day,
comprising 4 ships, two of which were survey ships).
The host and hostess (Frans and Antonia) were wonderful, giving
us all the information, tea, coffee and time in the world!
Next time we go, come with us!
