National Certificate in Business Administration & Computing (Level 3) |
| Aims of the Course
These certificates are based on national qualifications. The broad aims are to:
- Include a wide range of business administration competences, knowledge and skills so that you can find employment in a number of roles.
- Help you use these certificates to gain entry to Business Diploma and Bachelors study

Length of the Course |
| 18 weeks with 25 hours tuition per week (Monday-Friday) and a further 10 hours of self-study each week. |

Entry requirements |
- Age 18 or over
- Completion of Form 5 in New Zealand; or
- Completion of 2nd year in Senior High School overseas
- If English is not your first language, basic conversation skills are required. We can offer the language course to improve your English.

| Structure of the Course |
The course includes unit standards from the following:
- Business and Financial Services including word processing, text management and MYOB
- Computing and Information Technology: computer care and maintenance
- Communication Skills for the World of Work: Interviews, Meetings and Reports
- Service Sector Skills and interacting with customers
- Core generic skills like safety skills; creating your CV and resume

| Full Time / Part Time |

| The course is offered full time, 10 am to 1 pm and 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm each day. If 8 or more students wish to study evenings and / or weekends, this can be arranged! |
