Microsoft Advanced Academy
In order to allow students to gain maximum benefit from their course, St George is also a Microsoft Advanced Academy, which allows students access to all Microsoft training resources and software leading to Microsoft Certification.
Microsoft Certification is the International qualification for those wishing to design, build, configure and maintain Microsoft networks based on Microsoft Server 2003, or Microsoft Server 2008, work on workstations, database administration, Web/Windows development, and specialized business applications.
During the course, students will be specifically instructed on
- Workstations (XP, Vista, etc)
- Networking (Server 2003 and 2008)
- Applications (Word, Access, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, etc)
Students will in most cases be given their own software to work with. As well, St George provides practice servers and networks for networking instruction.

While St George teaches the material included in the Microsoft certification, it is the student’s responsibility and cost to arrange for testing.
