People with this qualification have:
an introductory and general level of understanding about computer industry concepts and/or are able to
work in areas of computing with low to medium technical complexity, for example user support,
personal computer repair, administration of systems, installation and repair of multi-user systems or
trainee programming.

Length of Study
16 weeks per semester, 2 semesters per level (ie, 4 semesters for both level 5 and 6, 15 months to complete both)
Entry Requirements
Entry to the course is open to domestic students and to international students who hold the relevant visas from the New Zealand immigration service. For entry at level 5 and 6 international students must have a level of English equivalent to TOEFL 500 or IELTS Band 6.0 or a pass in the provider entry test.
