National Diploma in Business (Level 5)
Course Summary:
The National Diploma in Business level 5 is a one year full time course, which is divided into four semesters. This qualification is aimed at teaching general business skills which are frequently required by employers, with some specific skills such as accounting and computer skills. St George National Diploma graduates are expected to be immediately valuable in the workplace, and capable of solving problems with a minimum of management support and guidance. .

Intake:

Duration:
The course lasts for one year, which is divided into in four semesters. Each semester is nine weeks long (ie, total of 39 week). Each semester includes two modules.
Students are required to attend class for 20 hours per week. Some of that time will be spent doing practical exercises, and some will be assisted self-study.
Entry requirements:
For entry at level 5, international students must have a level of English equivalent to TOEFL 500 or IELTS Band 5.5 or a pass in the St George entry test.
Domestic students over the age of 21 may enter without such a qualification, although NCEA level 2 is preferred.
